Bowling for Columbine-Marilyn Manson interview

Marilyn Manson is an American musician who has had an impressively solid career in multiple entertainment industries. In Bowling for Columbine, Manson is blamed for the multiple murders that occurred on April 20, 1999 at Columbine high school. The entire focus or the focus of the multi media was content on blaming Manson as the reason of the murderers killed at Columbine high school, the reason being Manson invoking music about suicide and fear.

The media's attempts to spin and place the blame on video games because all the murderers that created these mass killings played these shooting games. Without considering half the population when making these accusations, the media comes up with its scapegoat and making it about video games not about guns.

There is not just one influential factor that binds and causes the violence in America, but all of the factors in America. I believe this to be true because to point fingers at one another to pinpoint the blame will be an obstruction in the social system. The reason is that you need to consider poverty, race, gun control, and violence in order to understand the problem that is true and very real.

According to globalpublicsquare.blogs.cnn.com, "There are other reasons often given for gun violence – popular culture and violent video games in particular. But as this survey across the world should have shown, countries that imbibe much the same gory culture in Europe and Australia have much lower levels of violence. Japan, with its particular fascination with violent video games, is actually stunningly low in gun deaths. So whatever you think of violent video games and movies, they don't seem to be the key cause of gun violence."
